Last week I shared “How to Make Baby Food,” where I told you my normal process for making, and storing baby food. Today, I thought it would be a fun idea to share Baby Food Recipes, that I have created in the past, that you may find helpful too!
As I mentioned last week, when you’re first starting out with feeding your baby, baby food, it’s best to stick with one food for a few days to make sure he/she is not allergic, or can tolerate that certain food item. If you feed multiple different types of food, and you notice a change in your baby, it may be hard to pinpoint which food {if any} caused this.
But if you’re ready to move on and start mixing different foods, to give your baby a little variety, let’s roll on!
Frankly, your baby is just that… a “baby.” So he/she probably won’t be as picky as say your toddler will be one day, so you can get away with mixing some nasty stuff, and they’ll think it’s just fine and dandy. I’ve even seen corn & cherry baby food in the store. Yuck.

I will start with a base, {in bold}, and I usually add one or two of the others listed underneath for a good little baby food recipe.

Sweet Potatoes |

Now remember…
There are a TON of different food combinations, and types of other food that you can feed your baby. These are just the combos that my kiddos love(d). If I feel they’ve had a ton of sweeter fruits & veggies lately, I may add more of the “greens,” for the next combo.
Other food ideas that your baby may love, that I didn’t include:
prunes
potatoes
corn
mangoes

Until next time…

I paid for your new cookbook this morning and the information disappeared before I could download it. Can you please tell me how to get it back?

I love the idea of using a base and then adding in a vegetable! I do this with my little ones and they love it! Great way to try out new foods on them.

Oh good!!! Starting with a base, can make it so much easier! I’m so glad that you stopped by and dropped a note! XOXO
