Hello to all of Jessica’s Fantabulous readers! My name is Bethany and I live at Southern Couture blog. I am so thrilled to be able to meet y’all and get to know everyone so much better.
One favorite of mine about Fantabulosity is all of Jessica’s great ideas for parties. I myself love finding great ideas to DIY my own parties instead of spending a fortune on store bought decorations that usually end up looking really cheap.
A very popular birthday party theme right now is Despicable Me and Minions especially with the release of their newest movie this summer. (Have you seen Jessica’s minion cookies? So cute!)
I couldn’t wait to share Despicable Me snacks with y’all which would be a great idea for a child’s birthday party or even just a fun snack for your own kiddos to enjoy while watching the movie.
Because this trail mix is so easy to make, the kids can even get in the kitchen with you and help you make it. You may just have a hard time keeping their little fingers from grabbing the chocolate pieces out before it’s all mixed up.
Now let’s get to mixin’ so you can get to snackin’!
Ingredients:
- Pretzel sticks
- Nut of choice
- Blue candy pieces
- Yellow candy pieces
- Eyeball candy sprinkles
And now all you need to do is mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, grab yourself a blanket, and snuggle up on the couch for a good movie.
My favorite part of this trail mix is definitely the eyeball candy. It is so appropriate and fitting considering the minions and how adorable they look.
I also chose to use pistachios because they are a favorite in my house but peanuts and almonds would also be a great choice.
Once again it is my pleasure to be with everyone today. I would also love to know what fun ideas you may have for a minions party. Let me know in the comments below. And as I always say, “Enjoy the little things in life.”
Below you will also find a few of my other recent posts to enjoy.
