It may seem a tad crazy, but I am always so excited when a new holiday comes rolling around, so I can re-do my chalkboard art.
When it was time to erase my Easter Chalkboard Art, I had a hard time deciding which holiday to do next.
Spring Chalkboard Art
So…. I just decided to wing it. Or “Spring,” it. {Hee.}
I left up the boarder that I had on the Easter design, because I loved it’s simplicity. Ok ok… I didn’t change it because I was too lazy.
When you walk in our front door, the message of the season is always there to greet you! {Well, unless my husband gets ahold of the chalk marker, and then I can’t promise what it will say. Just beware.}
I’m totally having a hard time, trying to figure out what to put on our entry table, underneath the chalkboard. I mix it up, and usually add some holiday decor, but for the normal-every day decor…
I have no idea what to put there.
This time, I just pulled the lanterns off of my dining room table, and stuck ’em on there.
You see… I have a 1 & and 3 year old boy. So I’m limited to what I can actually put out. Sure, I’d love to add some glass vases, and white porcelain decor. But that ain’t gonna happen.
{For goodness sakes, the greenery that’s on there now is used as a “beanstalk,” for my 3 year olds Jack and the Beanstalk stories, and the little tray of decorative balls on the shelf, serve as bowling balls for my 1 year old.}
Today’s post is short and sweet, but it’s also a great catch up day for the most recent blog posts that you may have missed. {Or social media shout outs}
Here’s what’s been going on this week:

I can’t wait to see you around this week. I have some BEAUTIFUL photos from a recent trip of mine to show you!

Oops- I saw the paragraph about your boys being able to access this area after suggesting small vases underneath the chalkboard sign. Maybe a rectangular planter with an easy houseplant or something like that would work. Enjoy!
