Hi Everyone! It’s me, Denyse from Glitter, Glue & Paint. You may remember me from last month when I shared with you how to Turn Greeting Cards into a Treasured Display.
Thanks for having me every month, Jessica! I always have fun sharing my projects especially when I get a chance to share over here at Fantabulosity.
This months project is my Stenciled Canvas Curtains and the best part – they are no-sew. Another joyful part of this project is that you can customize it to the colors of your choosing. I know finding the right colors for a room can be challenging. Just have fun with it and remember it’s all about designing your life with a little SPARKLE.
So, let’s get started!
Stenciled Canvas Curtains!
I re-styled one of the rooms in my home in Black & White with Purple & Lime Green pops of color. Have you ever tried to find curtains that match your decor and color palette? Not so easy at times. I stared at this window for days before I got my Ah-hah moment.
I don’t have any more kids at home so it was time to get creative with “child’s room turned guest room”.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS PROJECT:
- 6 x 9 Canvas Drop Cloth
- Paint (I used these small Valspar samples and they worked great)
- Foam Roller
- Stencil Brush
- Stencil
- Stitch Witchery
A BIG tip I will share with you is that you DO NOT want to soak your roller. Less is more in this case. Too much paint will bleed under the stencil and that creates a mess. Besides you want a soft look on your curtains.

I hope you found some inspiration in making your own Stenciled Canvas Curtains.
