Stitch Fix August 2017 Unboxing + Try On Video and Photos: With a styling credit and coupon code, I’m sharing my Stitch Fix review with you!
Ok Stitch Fix lovers! You told me to give it one more try so I did, and now I’m ready to show you the unboxing and try on video, so you can see how it went!
Stitch Fix August 2017 Unboxing + Try On Video and Photos
Well friends, as always, I’ve recorded a video for you to get an extra feel of what’s in the box, and how everything looks on. But guess what… my hubby took the kids for the day and I was able to get an unboxing AND try-on video done in the same day! (This has NEVER happened.) So the one and only video of the August Stitch Fix Review, is here!
Well… guys, I just don’t know what’s going on.
Nothing jumped out at me like, “Keep me, keep me!” Especially after such a good “trunk” last week.
BUT…in case you see something that you’d like to have from this fix, I’ve put all of the details below, so you can tell your stylist!
Kut From The Kloth Dayna Distressed Skinny Jean // $88.00 // 6P
I’m just not a fan of light wash jeans on my body type I suppose. Sending back.
Daniel Rainn Carin Smocked Bib Blouse // $64.00 // SP
Although I LOVE coral/pinks, this top was just “meh,” for me. Sending back.
Q&A Graysen Ruffle Overlay Tank Top // $54.00 // S
This actually looks better on than I thought it would. But I think that I looks short and squatty in it. But perhaps I just need a good pair of heels with it? Sending back? I’m not sure… what do you think?
Jeans purchased here: Red Dress Boutique
I already had these jeans and love them to death! They’re super stretchy and I love dark wash jeans.
goodhYOUman Larrah Embroidered “It’s all good” Knit Tee // $44.00 // S
This shirt is just a big “no” for me. I can’t quite put a finger on exactly why I don’t like it. It just really lacks in the “flattering,” department. Sending back.
Loveappella Leander Cutout Back Swing Knit Top // $54.00 // SP
Now this top has a cut-out in the back, (if you aren’t able to watch the video at the moment) so that adds a little flair to the plain top. But the cutouts aren’t something that I see myself wearing really. So I’ll be sending this one back too.

I was bummed with your fix too! Although I actually think the light was jeans looked really cute on you! I’ve been having the same problem with stitchfix. I got several boxes in a row where I either didn’t keep anything or kept something I felt kinda “eh” about. It stinks too bc the one time I tried trunk club, I was majorly disappointed. All the items I got were so plain-jane, nothing cute or different. Plus the price was WAY out of my price range. I’m currently just shopping on my own, but I’d love to get back in the subscription box routine. Have you tried Wantable? It seems to be a lot like Stitchfix, although I honestly thought the profile was even more detailed. I haven’t gotten a shipment yet but I’m excited to try it. If you decide to try it, post a video! I’d love to see your take on it too!

Hi Megan! Well shoot!! I also hate that Trunk Club was a bust for you. 🙁 I haven’t tried Wantable yet, but I’ve heard of it! I may give it a try. And of course! I’d love to share a video if I do! Thank you for coming by Megan! XO

Hey Jessica, Did you notice that StitchFix has started a Luxe line with premium styles and high end pieces? I noticed it when I went to order my first box after being on break for a while. It might be worth trying.
Jessica says
Whaaat!? No I did not know this!!! How interesting! Thank you so much for letting me know!
Camille - Paisley Grace Boutique says
I’m with you. Not a fan of that box. You are too cute for what they sent! The Trunk Club stuff just looked way more original, boutique-like, you know?
Jessica says
AW, thank you Camille! You know what… you nailed it. The trunk club clothes DO look more boutique’ish! That’s the perfect description. I’ll be using that… LOL! Thank you!

I had this kind of fix last time, soooo many unflattering patterns and fits. They gave me the most paisley, gaudiest pieces I’ve ever seen. I used to really like stitchfix, but what has happened to them?
I get my new box this weekend….lets hope its a good one! It might be my last!
Jessica says
Well shoot! I’m not sure what’s going on. I hate that too, because it seems like Stitch Fix was the first company that started something like subscription boxes, and now there are so many. Thank you for coming by and leaving a note!
