I’m a Mom, and I Forgot.

“This post was sponsored by Starbucks as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I received compensation and complimentary products to facilitate my review.” Pardon me, while I get a little personal here.  Perhaps it's because my counselor says it's best for me to "write," it out.  (Which, by the way... making a monthly visit to a counselor or therapist does wonders for me, and I highly encourage it for anyone.) Or because I'll often read posts by others, sending encouraging thoughts to one another, and I'm hoping by sharing my story, it could help encourage someone else today. I'm a Mom,...

“You Are my Sunshine, Valentine” Classroom Valentines

"You are my Sunshine Valentine," Classroom Valentines Idea - Kids get SO much candy at Valentine's Day parties, and these Sunglasses Valentines are the perfect way to avoid adding to the "sweets! There's something about Valentine's Day, that makes me all "giddy," inside.  Perhaps it's because I'm surrounded by boys all year long, and when Valentine's Day rolls around, I'm suddenly able to go crazy with pink & red, and NO ONE can say anything about it. ;) "You Are My Sunshine Valentine," Classroom Valentines If you're like myself, I'm always trying to think of a way to create non-candy related items for my...

“I Can Do It Myself!” — Myself Belts

So have you seen the show, "Shark Tank?" My hubby and I watch it all.the.time. Watching it one night, I saw a lady walk on "stage," with an invention that made me think: Now why didn't I think of that? When I see something that could potentially make my life easier as a mom, I'm hooked. If you read my post, "Monday Night Football," you probably saw the photos of my little guys.  My youngest, was wearing a pair of jeans, with a onesie tucked in them.  My dad even asked, Jessica, where is his little belt?  He needs something. He was right.  He needed a...

Restaurant Kit: Toddler Busy Bag

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone, promise! #MARVELSnackBar #CollectiveBias When I was a child, my parents took us out to eat MAYBE once a week.  Usually on a Friday.  It was a treat, for sure! Now... with my own little family... we eat out A LOT.  It's either because of a social event, or the day/evening got away from us, and eating out just seems like the easy idea.  Don't get me wrong, I wish we would eat at home more.  I'm sure it's more affordable that way... But sometimes, I wonder...

Quick French Toast Recipe

I've made French Toast for years.  With a Quick French Toast Recipe though??? No. It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago, during an "obsessed with French Toast," mood my boys were in, that I got creative & discovered a fast way to make French Toast. Old Way:  Make my egg mixture, and dip a slice of bread in to the bowl of mixture... sit, let is soak up, and then place each piece on the griddle.  I end up standing, & waiting for the bread to soak, then have about 6 pieces of french toast, cooking at all different stages. New Way... {Recipe...
