Trunk Club May 2017 Try-On Video: The try-on took an unexpected turn on some items, and I like some that I thought I wouldn’t, and will be returning some I thought I never would!
It absolutely blows my mind when a Trunk Club try-on session, flip flops, and has a totally different outcome than I thought it would. Today’s video is no different, and it caught me by surprise for sure.
Trunk Club May 2017 Try-On Video
If you subscribe to my YouTube channel, then you may have already watched the video of the try-on. (I post the video over there first, sometimes a day before the blog post goes live. So if you want to see it earlier than others, make sure to subscribe HERE, so you’ll get a notification when there’s one posted.)
I explained in the beginning of the video that this one is a bit different. I was pressed for time, and filmed the try-on with my iphone, while using the mirror. This way is much faster, AND you can see the outfit in it’s entirety… instead of watching me do awkward bends and one-leg balances to try to show you everything that I have on.
But I DO know that the quality isn’t as great, as when I record the video with my DSLR camera, so it’s a give/take.
Alright… let’s get with it, shall we?

Trunk Club Spring Outfits:
So this romper. The COLORS!!! Gorgeous, right? But as I mentioned in the video, it can gap open and is tight around the mid-section. But the tightness is something I can live with. So it’s a matter of “Is it cute enough to keep, and I can wear an undershirt? Or should I send it back?

Well shoot. When I pulled this out, in the unboxing video, I assumed it was ankle length. It’s “shin” length, and it’s super baggy around the mid-section. The whole thing is unflattering, and I hate that, because I was SOOO excited about this jumpsuit!
The color is beautiful and I adore the ruffles and v-neck, but that’s about it.

I SO love wearing cream white shirts. When they’re lace or ruffles too, that’s an added bonus. I fell in love with this shirt, and ripped the tags off in my Facebook LIVE video the other day when you all told me that you liked it too!

The red-orange shorts are a bit longer than I’m used to wearing, so I’m not too keen on them. (Although I probably SHOULD wear shorts this length.) But the super bright orange-red color tends to wash me out too. So I’m not a huge fan.

Well, this yellow shirt sure had me confused in the unboxing, and left me with hardly any faith. But by golly, it’s gorgeous on. But like I said in the video, I’d have a hard time wearing this when I’m with my kiddos because I’d be showing the girls off on accident WAY too much with all of the bending/playing. But the shirt would be great for date night!
The white jeans are super comfy, just as expected, since they’re Wit & Wisdom. But I’m going to send them back because I have two or three pairs of white skinny jeans already.

I never buy purple or lavender for myself, but I may start. I had no idea how it would compliment my olive skin so much. I’m a new fan. But the style of the shirt isn’t my favorite. It’s pretty baggy, and not as form fitting as I would like.

Well I’m a fan of the color of this dress, and the v-neck and ruffles, but the waist is really odd. It extremely “wide,” and I’m not a fan of that. I know that’s the style that they were going for, but I’m just not a fan of a dress that looks like it’s supposed to be gathered at the waist, but doesn’t. It almost gives the appearance that it’s stretched out.

As always, I’d LOVE to hear what you think about the pieces. I’ll hang on to them for a bit to see what you all think, before deciding on what to send back or keep!
