Hi Everyone! It’s me, Denyse from Glitter, Glue & Paint. You may remember me from last month when I shared how to make a Cork Board Frame.
I always have fun sharing my projects especially when I get a chance to share over here at Fantabulosity.
Now, let’s get to the project I’m sharing this month. If you keep greeting cards, especially those that are personable and you can’t part with them – why not display them. I have the perfect way for you to turn your greeting cards into a treasured display.
So, let’s get started!
Turn your Greeting Cards into a Treasured Display!
If you are anything like me you keep things that are very important to you. For me some of those important things are greeting cards that I have received over the years that I just treasure.
Sometimes it’s such a shame for them to sit in boxes on a shelf. They should be out for the world to see. Share those memories.
I bet you are wondering how you could do that and display them in a fashion that isn’t messy. I am sharing a simple solution that will not break the bank and that you will have fun creating.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS PROJECT:
Your Favorite Greeting Cards
Shelf with hooks is optional (The one I am showing you came from Hobby Lobby)
First you will want to group your cards by category, if you choose to. Some fun categories are Christmas, Birthday, Love & Marriage, or just because.
I used my “heart” paper punch and punched 3 holes in each card. You will wan to make sure to punch them in the same spot on each card, so when you add the binder rings your cards will line up like a nice booklet.
After you have all of your greeting cards punched you will clip them together with album/binder rings. Now you have a cute little greeting card book.
They look great just the way they are but I wanted to add (booklet) covers to each group of cards. I went with a French Vintage look for my covers.
If you want to create covers just take your scrapbook paper and cut it to the size of your greeting cards. What I did was either print a title and quote to each set or glued a vintage photo I had found online.
I put my fabulous “Greeting Card Display”on the hooks of a wired shelf. You can set them out on a table or maybe on a nightstand in a guest room. Be creative!

I hope you found some inspiration in displaying those cards that mean so much to you.
