I’m delighted to share my Valentine’s Day Chalkboard with you today! Consider this part of the “Home Tour,” that I did, if you will… but it will change from season to season.
The other day when I shared my latest chalkboard design on Instagram, and my Facebook page, I had a lot of feedback saying that you wanted to know more!
So here we are:
Valentine’s Day Chalkboard Design
It all began when I couldn’t WAIT to get my hands on this chalkboard from Restoration Hardware. The day it was delivered, I begged a good friend to come over and help me hang it up in our foyer. Although the wood finish wasn’t as dark as I originally thought (gotta love color variation on a laptop), I still fell in love with it.
I never considered myself “creative,” when it came to writing/drawing. So I started browsing Pinterest, and I found two variations of a Valentine’s Day Chalkboard idea, that I combined and used as a starting point, and created yours truly! (Now I’m “hooked,” and can’t wait for the next holiday to create another design!)
Heck, maybe I’m even ready to do a DIY chalkboard!
For so long, I struggled with how to remove chalk marker from this chalkboard.
P.S. Don’t mind the birthday gift for my sister, sitting on the entry table that I still have to deliver. Ooops.
Until next time,

I use clorox wipes and they work like a dream! I used liquid chalk over Christmas and it seems that will need a paint over on my chalk board wall. I’m going to give the vinegar a try!

Ahhhh! So you used clorox wipes and it worked!!? I never thought about that! I tried Windex wipes, and no luck. š Ooooh! Can’t wait to try it!
