The Hawaiian: Ham + Egg + Cheese + Pineapple
Get a taste of the tropics with this Hawaiian breakfast sandwich. Ham, egg, cheese, and pineapple sandwiched between a bun to make the ultimate breakfast recipe.

Ingredients

Hawaiian buns
8-12
slices
ham
We used Castle Wood Reserve® Honey Ham

slices
pepperjack cheese
4
eggs

pineapple rings
butter
for cooking
Instructions
Begin by buttering the insides of the buns, and toasting them in a pan over medium-high heat, for about 30 seconds. Set aside.
Fry the ham, topping with a slice of cheese after warmed/fried, and place on the bottom portion of the bun.
If desired, place pineapple ring in the pan to sear/warm for about a minute. (Flipping half-way through.) Place on top of ham/cheese.
If necessary, add a little butter to the pan to fry your egg(s) over-easy
Place on top of meat/cheese/pineapple
Top with other bun, and gently push down, allow the egg yolk to slightly drip over the rest of the sandwich.
