Ice Cream Sandwich Cake

This dessert recipe is SO easy to make and really tasty. Have the kids help with this ice cream cake recipe!

Ingredients

  • 6 mini ice cream sandwiches
  • 2 cups ice cream of choice
  • 2 cups whipped cream

Ice Cream Toppings (optional):

  • sprinkles
  • chocolate syrup
  • chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Line a loaf pan with wax paper
  • Line 3 ice cream sandwiches along the bottom. (The size of your loaf pan may cause the amount of ice cream sandwiches needed, vary.)
  • Top ice cream sandwiches with one cup of ice cream of choice.
  • Spread 1 cup of whipped cream on top of ice cream.
  • Repeat by layering another 3 ice cream sandwiches, 1 cup of ice cream and one cup of whipped cream.
  • Top with desired ice cream toppings.
  • Freeze for 1 hour.
  • Remove from freezer, and lift up cake out of loaf pan by lifting out the wax paper.
  • Slice ice cream sandwich cake into individual slices.
  • Serve immediately. Freeze any leftovers.
