Coffee-Crusted Beef Tenderloin

Ingredients

ground coffee
(I used NESCAFE CLASSICO)

brown sugar

teaspoons
garlic powder

teaspoons
paprika

ground black pepper

4-5 pound
beef tenderloin roast
Instructions
Combine all of the coffee and seasonings in a bowl. Rub the spice mixture into the tenderloin, covering the entire tenderloin.
Cut the tenderloin in to three sections.
Preheat the grill to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
When heated, sear the tenderloin on the grill at 450 degrees over direct heat for about 15 minutes.
Flipping the tenderloin back and forth, sear the meat on all sides/ends.
Then lower grill temp to 325-350 and cook an additional 25-30 minutes, or until internal meat temperature reaches 125-130 degrees.
Remove tenderloin from grill and place in a roasting pan, covered, allowing it to "sit," for 10-15 minutes before serving.
