1/2cupguacamoleor mashed avocado - I used store bought to save some time
1Tablespooncream cheese
2cupsoilfor frying
sweet chili saucefor dipping (optional)
Instructions
Heat enough oil in a deep skillet or pan, {about an inch deep} over medium-high heat.
Mix together the guacamole and cream cheese until blended.
Lay out a wonton wrapper, and put about a teaspoon of the guacamole mixture on to one corner of a wonton.
Fold your wonton: There are many ways you can do this, and feel free to fold as you like, but you can see in the steps above how I folded it, and it worked great!
Add your wrapped wontons to the heated oil, and fry for about 15 seconds on each side, or until the wontons become a nice golden brown.
Remove from oil, and lay wontons on a plate, that is covered with a paper towel to soak up any remaining oil. Serve immediately, with sweet chili sauce for dipping (optional).
