This Chicken and Noodles Recipe is made using only a few simple ingredients such as cream of chicken soup, chicken, chicken broth, herbs and spices, and it's ready in just 25 minutes!
½cupchopped white or yellow onionor a medium sized onion
1Tablespoonminced garlic
4cupschicken broth
2cans10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
3cupsuncooked egg noodles
2cupscooked, shredded chicken
½teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Melt butter over medium heat and then add onion and cook for 5 minutes.
Next, add the garlic and stir to combine.
Add in both soups and broth, and then turn up the heat to medium high heat.
When it starts to boil, add in the in egg noodles. Turn the heat down to medium low heat and cook the noodles for about 10 minutes.
Add in the chicken, salt and pepper and then stir to combine.
Cook for an additional couple of minutes to allow chicken to heat through.

Tip: The broth is what will cook the noodles so there's no need to pre-cook the egg noodles before adding to the pot.Storage: Simply store any leftovers in an airtight container (once it has cooled) for 3-5 days.Freezing Instructions: Allow it to fully cool and then store in an airtight, freezer container for up to 3 months. To thaw, remove from the freezer and place in the refrigerator so it thaws. Then, pour the chicken and noodles in a stock pot on the stovetop, and gently warm it back up, on a “low” burner.
