In a skillet (large enough for the gravy to cook in) cook the chorizo or medium heat until done, which is about 10 minutes or until the temperature of the chorizo reaches 170. Do not drain.
Add flour, garlic powder and salt, and stir with a whisk until combined.
Add milk and whisk frequently, cooking for about 3 minutes or until gravy thickens.
Notes
If the gravy gets too thick, add more milk, by the 1/2 cup until it reaches your desired consistency.
If the whole package of chorizo will be too spicy for you, reduce the amount of chorizo you use! It's flexible and can be changed to reflect your desired spice level.
