In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix with can of fruit cocktail, one cup coconut, and eggs.
Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for two minutes.
Pour into prepared cake pan and then sprinkle with brown sugar (Image 2).
Bake for 45 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.
In a small sauce pan bring butter, sugar, and evaporated milk to a boil.
Boil for two minutes stirring constantly remove from heat and stir in remaining coconut.
Spread over hot cakes. Served warm or cool!
