cup
salted butter
softened at room temperature

cups
white granulated sugar

eggs

ripe
bananas
mashed
½
cup
cocoa powder
1
cup
white all-purpose flour
(whole wheat also works)

teaspoon
baking powder
½
cup
creamy peanut butter
Instructions
Heat oven to 350 degrees and coat a 9x13 inch baking pan in nonstick cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the sugar and butter until creamy and well combined.
Mash bananas. Whisk the eggs and mashed bananas into the creamed butter mixture until the mixture is smooth.
Add the cocoa powder, flour, and baking powder. Whisk the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until no clumps of flour remain.
Fold in the peanut butter with a rubber spatula until it is evenly distributed throughout the brownie batter.
Pour the batter into the pan and bake the brownies for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick can be cleanly removed from the center of the pan.
Let cool, then slice into squares and enjoy!
