This creamy, dreamy cookies and cream milkshake doesn't require any special ingredients to make. All you need is ice cream, milk, vanilla, and Oreos and you can have this ready in 15 minutes!
Slightly thaw your favorite vanilla ice cream before beginning - about 10 minutes on the counter works great.
While it is thawing, crush 5 oreo cookies into chunks by putting it in a ziplock bag and smashing with a hammer or rolling it with a rolling pin - or just use your hands. You want it crushed into large chunks of cookies - not fine dust.
Scoop the slightly softened ice cream into a blender.
Add vanilla and ¼ cup milk.
Blend well. If you want the milkshake to be thinner, add more milk, mixing between additions until you get the thickness you prefer.
Dump in the crushed oreos and pulse ever so slightly just to incorporate into the milkshake mixture. (You want to have large chunks!)
Pour into 2 chilled glasses (this recipe makes about 2 cups of milkshake, so you can have one large milkshake or two smaller ones).
Top with your favorite toppings such as whipped cream, chocolate sauce, cherries, and more crushed oreos!
Notes
SERVING SUGGESTION: For a pretty presentation, drizzle a little chocolate syrup onto the sides of the glasses and freeze before preparing the milkshake.
