First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and prepare a 9x13 pan with a light coating of cooking spray, then set it aside.
Next, drain both cans of peaches, and reserve a ½ cup of the heavy syrup for later.
Spread the peaches across the bottom of the prepared pan in an even layer, and drizzle the reserved ½ cup heavy over the top.
Next, sprinkle the cinnamon evenly over the peaches.
Using a small measuring cup, distribute the cake mix over the peaches in an even layer.
Then, pour the melted butter over the cake mix.
Bake the cobbler in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Tip: Make sure that the cake mix is evenly distributed because without doing so, it could result in taking a bite of dry cake mix after baking.Tip: When drizzling the melted butter, try to evenly distribute it across the top of the cake mix to help the cake mix have moisture while baking. However, it is ok if there is cake mix showing. As it cooks, it will pull up some of the liquid from both the butter and syrup.
