Wash and pat dry the 1.5-2 pounds thick-cut bone-in pork chops.
Brush 1 Tablespoon olive oil onto each side of the chops.
Mix the seasonings (¼ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon lemon pepper, ½ teaspoon dried rosemary, ½ teaspoon salt) together in a small bowl and then sprinkle the mixture over the chops, evenly. You may need to use the brush to spread the seasoning out evenly.
Pour the ½ cup waterinto the bottom of the roasting pan to prevent smoking and juices from burning. Then place the pork chops onto the pan.
Move the oven shelf to approximately 5 inches from the broiler element. Then preheat the broiler on HI for 2-3 minutes.
Once heated, place the pan into the oven and broil for 10-16 (depending on thickness), flipping once halfway through cooking.
Pork chops are done when a meat thermometer reads 145 degrees. Let the pork chops rest 3-5 min before serving.
Garnish with lemon juice to add extra flavor if desired.
