Pepperoni pizza dip is pure cheesy goodness. This great recipe is made up of pepperoni slices, melty cheese, and delicious marinara sauce. Together, they make for one tasty, easy appetizer worth trying!
1cup¾ + ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
½cup¼ + ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese (divided)
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoondried oregano
¼teaspoonred pepper flakesadjust to your preferred level of spiciness
1cuppizza sauce
½cupsliced pepperoni
Fresh basil leaves for garnishoptional

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Combine 1 block of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sour cream, ¾ cup of mozzarella cheese, ¼ cup of grated parmesan cheese, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon dried oregano, ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
Spread this cream cheese mixture in the bottom of a medium baking dish or an 8-inch cast-iron skillet. Pour 1 cup pizza sauce evenly over the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup mozzarella and ¼ cup parmesan cheese over the pizza sauce. Add pepperoni as the next layer.
Bake the dip in the preheated oven for about 20 - 25 minutes or until it's bubbling and the cheese on top is melted and slightly golden.
If you like, garnish the pizza dip with fresh basil leaves before serving.
