This easy pulled pork sliders recipe uses simple ingredients, a homemade pulled pork recipe or store-bought pulled pork, and is perfect for game day or an easy dinner.
12slider Hawaiian buns(don't cut them individually yet)
4cupscooked pulled porkEither store bought or use this pulled pork recipe.
9slicesprovolone cheese
1cupbbq sauce
Glaze and Topping Ingredients
¼cupbutter
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonDijon mustard
1teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
1teaspoonsesame seeds
1teaspoongrated parmesan cheese
½teaspooncrushed red pepper flakesoptional for a little heat
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Slice Hawaiian buns in half, creating top and a bottom layers. (You will not cut the buns individually yet. It's much easier to assemble sliders and then cut in to sliders.) Place bottom layer of buns in a 9x13 baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, mix together 4 cups cooked pulled pork and 1 cup bbq sauce until combined. (Tip: microwave or warm the pulled pork so it warms faster in the oven.)
Spread pulled pork on top of bottom layer of Hawaiian buns, evenly.
Top pulled pork with slices of 9 slices provolone cheese and then place tops of Hawaiian buns on.
In a small mixing bowl, melt the ¼ cup butter, and add 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, and mix together until combined. Brush at least half of the glaze on top of Hawaiian buns.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon grated parmesan cheese, and ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes on top of buttered buns.
Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, uncovering with only 1 minute left to give the tops of the buns a golden finish.
Notes
If your cheese is not melted in the middle of your sliders after the 20 minutes, this could be due to the pulled pork being colder when baking, or that the cheese is thicker. Simply cover with aluminum foil and continue baking until heated through.
