3 ¼cupsmilk
2 -8 ouncescontainers Cool Whipthawed - see expert tips in blog post
8ouncescream cheesesoftened to room temperature
¾cuppowdered sugar
Instructions
Place 2 rows of double stuffed Oreos in a large Ziploc bag. Seal the top, and using the palm of your hands, crush the cookies into small chunks. (Some people prefer using a rolling pin or food processor to crush them, if you find that easier.)
Once they are small chunks, pour the crushed Oreos out into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Place the remaining row of Oreos in the Ziploc bag and crush them to use for the topping.
Pour the melted butter over the Oreo chunks in the baking pan, and mix with a spoon. Pat down and set in the refrigerator to chill and set.
Using the whisk attachment on a stand mixer (or a hand mixer or whisk), pour the milk into a large bowl and add the pudding powder. Mix pudding on low speed until the powder is incorporated. Then turn the mixer on higher speed and mix until the pudding gets thick.
Transfer the pudding into a bowl and place in the fridge to chill.Wash out the mixing bowl and whip the softened cream cheese until fluffy.
Slowly add in the powdered sugar in to the cream cheese mixture and beat until smooth. Fold in one container of Cool Whip.
Remove the pan with the Oreo crust from the fridge and layer the dessert together with the following layers:- Oreo crust- cream cheese and cool whip mixture- chocolate pudding- Cool Whip- Oreo cookie crumbs
Place plastic wrap over the dessert and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into pieces.

Notes
Thaw containers of Cool Whip in the refrigerator overnight so it's easier to work with.
Pro Tip: To loosen the cookie crust of the first slice, heat up a dishcloth under running hot water and wring out. Place the dishcloth under the corner where you want to make the first slice. Leave it for about a minute and then cut and remove the slice. The heat will help loosen up the Oreo crust and help you enjoy this heavenly Oreo dessert even faster!
