chopped fresh parsleyoptional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place Texas toast on baking sheet, in single layer.
Spread a little pizza sauce on each piece of bread. (Approximately a couple of Tablespoons of sauce on each piece, or more if you prefer more sauce!
Spread the sauce evenly on each piece.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of pizza sauce. (As much as you'd like but we used about 2 cups - or an 8 ounce bag - of shredded mozzarella for the 8 pieces of garlic bread.)
Place pepperoni on each piece of bread, or your favorite toppings. We used 3 pepperonis for each slice.
Place baking sheet in to the oven and bake for about 5 minutes.Optional: If you'd like to switch the oven to "broil" at the last minute to help the pizzas turn golden brown, you definitely can.
Optional: Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley
Notes
StorageIf you have leftover pizzas, store them in an airtight container with a lid, cover with plastic wrap or place in a plastic, ziptop bag.To reheat: You can place them back in the oven on a cookie sheet, warm in the microwave, or our favorite... reheat them in the air fryer to help them taste like they were just made!Top Tip: Only make as many as you need, and keep the ingredients on hand for last-minute meals. The ingredients are all something that can either be frozen or stored in the pantry for quite a while.
