Cook 4 pieces bacon and ½ cup yellow onion over medium heat, until bacon is crispy.
Add 2 cans green beans (drained) and ⅓ cup light brown sugar, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons soy sauce, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
Cook between med low heat, covered, for 20 minutes, stirring carefully and once, halfway through. (At 10 min.)

If you don't prefer a sweeter taste, you can cut back on the sugar to ¼ cup brown sugar.
