This easy Alfredo sauce recipe comes together with just a few simple ingredients and is delicious served over pasta, or chicken or steak, an in your favorite lasagna recipe.
In a large skillet, add your heavy cream, butter, and garlic.
Cook over medium heat, whisking occasionally until the heavy cream has started to thicken.
Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese, a little at a time, until all of the cheese has melted.
Continue to cook until the sauce has reached a thick consistency.

You can use grated Parmesan cheese instead of shredded if you prefer.Feel free to add additional ingredients such as Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, or your favorite spices if desired, to achieve your favorite flavors.
