Ingredients
4
pork chops
bone-in or boneless, about 1 inch thick
1
tablespoon
olive oil
1
teaspoon
salt
½
teaspoon
black pepper
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
½
teaspoon
paprika
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps them brown instead of steam.
Rub both sides lightly with olive oil.
Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Place pork chops on a baking sheet or in a baking dish, leaving space between each one.
Bake according to thickness guidelines above.
Remove from oven once internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
Notes
This seasoning amount works well for 4 standard pork chops. Adjust slightly if using very large or thick cuts.
Cooking time depends on thickness.
At
400°F
:
½-inch thick: 8–12 minutes
1-inch thick: 15–20 minutes
1½-inch thick: 20–25 minutes
Bone-in chops may take slightly longer.
Always cook to 145°F internal temperature and rest 3–5 minutes.
See full post above for temperature chart and thickness guide.
