¼cuppepperoni
Other favorite pizza toppings such sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc. (optional)
Additional toppings and garnishes (optional):
Parmesan
Red pepper flakes
Chopped parsley
Ranch dressing for dipping
Instructions
Prepare the fries according to the instructions on the package.
Preheat the oven to 425F.
Transfer the cooked fries to a 9x13 pan lined with parchment paper. If using a sheet pan, you can pile them up in the same pan.
Sprinkle half of the cheese evenly over the fries.
Drizzle the pizza sauce over the cheese layer.
Add the remaining cheese on top of the fries.
Distribute the pepperoni and any other desired pizza toppings over the fries.
Bake for 9–11 minutes until the cheese is melted. For extra bubbly and melty cheese, you can broil on low for a minute or two, but be sure to monitor closely to prevent overcooking.
Once done, remove the fries from the oven and garnish with your favorite toppings. Serve immediately, and enjoy with extra pizza sauce on the side.
Notes
Be sure to note that putting down half the cheese helps to create the perfect barrier between the fries and the sauce. Be careful not to overdo the sauce when adding it to the fries. Too much sauce can lead the fries to become soggy. It is recommended to serve extra sauce on the side.
You can opt for an 11x17 baking sheet when preparing the fries. While we used a smaller 9x13 sheet to stack them closely, you can do the same on the larger one.
