This Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread is a delicious combo of crispy bread, smooth Alfredo sauce, tender seasoned chicken, garlic butter and sprinkled with cheese and baked to perfection.
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
How to Make Garlic Butter
In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic, and parsley. Cut your loaf of French bread half lengthwise and spread the butter mixture over both halves of the bread. Place the bread onto the sheet pan and set it aside.
How to Cook Chicken
Season both sides of the chicken with the onion powder, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until both sides are golden brown and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and allow it to rest for 3-4 minutes. Slice your chicken into half-inch pieces.
Making Alfredo Sauce
In a large skillet, add your heavy cream, butter, and garlic. Cook over medium heat, whisking occasionally until the heavy cream has started to thicken. Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese, a little at a time, until all of the cheese has melted. Continue to cook until the sauce has reached a thick consistency.
Assemble Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread
Spread about ¾ of the Alfredo sauce over the bread in an even layer. Sprinkle your mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top and evenly distribute the sliced chicken breast over the cheese. Drizzle the remaining alfredo sauce over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the bread is crispy.
Sprinkle your parsley over the top of the bread and slice into 1 to 2-inch pieces.
Notes
If your bread isn't as crispy as you'd like it to be, you can toast it before adding the toppings and then bake it for 10-15 minutes after topping it with sauce and chicken just to get the cheese melted.
