Chili Cheese Corn Dogs are as simple as using frozen corn dogs, canned or homemade chili, and sprinkling with cheese, all cooked together, making it a family-favorite meal.
Bake corndogs according to package the directions, with your preferred cooking method. I prefer oven-baked on a baking sheet, covered with parchment paper.
Carefully remove the wooden stick from the cooked corn dogs by sliding the stick out.
With a knife, slice each corn dog vertically down the center, about halfway through, being careful not to cut through to the bottom.
Pour about a ΒΌ cup of chili (or deisred amount) in to each cut corn dog, and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Place back in oven (or preferred cooking method) and cook at the same temperature that was used to cook the corn dogs, and cook for another 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Serve warm!

Notes
Tip: When splitting the corn dogs open, make sure the centers aren't frozen anymore, even though you'll be warming them again with the chili and cheese. Bake them a little longer if needed before adding the chili and cheese to melt.
