Ingredients for Funfetti cake cookies
You only need 5 simple ingredients for these cookies, and you probably have most (if not all) of them in your house right now! If you don’t, you can find all of these at your local grocery store.

- 1 box funfetti cake mix
- ⅓ cup canola oil
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons colored sprinkles, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How to make these easy funfetti cake mix cookies
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet and set aside.
- In a large bowl, add the funfetti cake mix, canola oil, eggs, 2 tablespoons colored sprinkles, and vanilla. Stir with a rubber spatula until well combined, about 1-2 minutes.
- Cover the bowl in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Remove the bowl from the refrigerator and scoop the cake batter cookie dough into 1- to 1 ½-inch balls. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet and lightly press down to “flatten” the tops a little bit.
- With the remaining ¼ cup of sprinkles, add them to the slightly flattened tops of the cookies.
- Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes. For the perfect cookies, do not overbake.
- Remove the baking tray from the oven and let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving. Warning: cake mix cookies usually have a soft texture, so be careful when transferring them to the cooling rack!
