St. Patrick’s Day Charcuterie Board: A dessert board of green foods and candy or your favorite snacks, arranged in a fun way, for entertaining! It’s one of our favorite fun charcuterie boards to date!
We’ve really been getting in to St. Patrick’s Day treats around here because it’s an easy way to celebrate the holiday and making everything “green” is a lot of fun. This leprechaun bait was especially fun to put together, in case you’re looking for multiple desserts to make!
Your St. Patrick’s Day charcuterie boards can easily be made on a smaller scale too if you’re not wanting something so big or with so many different items. But it is so fun, having all the fun colors together, isn’t it? Kind of similar to the Easter charcuterie board and the Christmas dessert board that I put together.

Why You’ll Love Making This
- Perfect for entertaining: Charcuterie boards are perfect when hosting or feeding a crowd. It’s an easy way for guests to snack and grab their favorites
- Variety: Oftentimes, when it comes to dessert ideas, it only allows one type of cookie, cake, or even dip. But with a snack board, this gives a variety of flavors and treats!
- Favorite Candy: There’s something special about seeing different types of candy, arranged on a board, instead of having them placed in individual bowls.
Ideas of What You Can Use
Your charcuterie board doesn’t have to look just like this one or use the exact same items! Feel free to mix things up, change things out and use your own favorites.
Different Types of Textures You Can Use:
- Candies – A fun mixture of sweet and sour, gummy candy and hard candy, and so much more! For this board, rainbow colors and green are a safe bet!
- Baked Goods – Whether it’s storebought or homemade cupcakes and homemade cookies, the baked goods had a wonderful alternative to candy, yet it’s still a sweet offering. If you’re up for it, these mint chocolate cupcakes would be the perfect addition to the charcuterie board, along with these rainbow waffles!
- Dried Goods – Cereal, crackers, popcorn, dried fruit chips, they’re all great, crunchy options to add to a snack board.
- Fruit and Veggies – Although you won’t see any of this on this board, we’ve used many fruits and vegetables on charcuterie boards and they offer a great alternative to candy and baked goods. See our fruit board and our breakfast charcuterie for ideas on green fruits that you can use!

Steps to Make This Charcuterie Board
There’s really no wrong or right way to make this St. Patrick’s Day snack board. However, there are certain steps you can take to categorize items and make sure the board looks symmetrical.
Start by gathering your treats and grabbing your favorite large wooden board or platter. We love using this wooden board for any kind of charcuterie and these small bowls would look great on a board too but any small bowls will work! You may also love these party toothpicks that work great for the marshmallow kebobs!

Recipe FAQs
Depending on the items you use, you could either make some of the board the night before or all of the board. Be cautious of styling items on the board that could become stale with too much time sitting out. Items such as marshmallows, cupcakes, some cookies, etc. However, candies should be just fine.
Store any leftover treats from this St. Patrick’s Day charcuterie board, in separate airtight containers.
This will depend on how many guests you have, and how many snacks you want on the board. Top Tip: Remember that small amounts of each item can go on the board, and you can gradually add more as the event goes on. It doesn’t all have to be on the board at the start.
