It is so good to be back today. If we haven’t met before, my name is Bethany and I hang out at Southern Couture blog. It is my pleasure to be back with y’all again today and share something fun. I can’t wait to hear what you think.

With these lunchbox love notes, you can include them with their pb&j sandwiches or bento lunch boxes, and remind them every day that you are thinking of them and cheering them on. I remember as a child opening my lunch and finding a sweet note from my Mom. It always made me smile and feel so special.

What’s great too is that they can be reused over and over and over and over. How you might ask? You just need a laminating machine. If you don’t have one or don’t want to invest in one then you can also buy self-sealing laminating sheets that don’t require a machine.

Any notepad or scrapbook paper cut into small note card sizes would work perfect, but I have these adorable Project Life cards that work perfect and are just the right size. I actually found these and another box at a local discount store for only $5.00 a box. I know right?! That’s amazing.

I placed several in a laminating sheet and put it through the machine. And voila! I just love the fun in seeing something laminate. Now all you need to do is cut them out.

Use washi tape to attach them to your child’s Tupperware containers or the inside of the lunchbox. Write on them using dry erase markers and then all you have to do is wipe them off with a towel for the next day.

One of my Project Life cards had several different emotions listed with checkboxes beside them. I thought this was a perfect idea to use for your kids to write back to you how they’re feeling and make it easier for you guys to talk. Just don’t forget to include a dry erase marker in their lunchbox.

PRO TIP: If you use the positive parenting tool that Jessica uses, this would also be a fun time to include one of those as a surprise in the lunch box.

I hope your kids have a wonderful start to their school year.
