Pork chops cooked in the crock pot covered with gravy.

It doesn’t get much easier than these creamy crock pot pork chops. Boneless pork chops are slow cooked in just a handful of ingredients until tender, which creates a delicious gravy to serve on top.

Two pork chops with a creamy sauce, sitting on top of mashed potatoes, and next to cheese biscuits.

Dinner recipes with few ingredients are key to a quick and easy supper. These boneless pork chops smothered in a creamy gravy are tender, flavorful, and delicious served with mashed potatoes, noodles, or your favorite vegetable.

Pork chops can be cooked in many different ways, and once you’ve tried this recipe, you’ll also want to try these BBQ-baked pork chops, these broiled pork chops, and these deep-fried pork chops with gravy next.

Why You’ll Love These Slow Cooker Pork Chops

    • Handful of Ingredients: It only takes 4 ingredients to make this recipe, and 3 of them are pantry ingredients! Keep the pork chops in the refrigerator or the freezer for a recipe that’s easy to turn to.
    • Slow Cooker Recipe: All you have to do when cooking pork chops in the crock pot, is place the pork chops in, season them, and pour the soups on top. Turn the crock pot on, and the pork chops will slow cook and be ready for you in a few hours.
    • Easy to Make: Simple toss the ingredients in to the crock pot and it does the cooking for you. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
    • Comforting Flavors: The ranch seasoning and the creaminess of the soups, give this cut of meat tons of flavor with the gravy that it creates as it cooks.

    Ingredients

Here’s all you’ll need to make these crock pot pork chops:

Ingredients for making crock pot pork chops, sitting on counter.

Complete list of ingredients and amounts can be found in the recipe card below.

    • Boneless Pork Chops – You can also do bone-in pork chops if that’s what you have on hand but boneless makes for easier eating.
    • Ranch Dressing Seasoning – Either the buttermilk dressing mix or the regular ranch packets will work for this. The package of seasoning seasons the meat without having to use a lot of individual spices.
    • Cream of Chicken Soup & Cream of Mushroom Soup – The canned soups mix with the seasoning, and then create a gravy that smothers the pork chops.

How to Make Crock Pot Pork Chops

Boneless pork chops seasoned with ranch seasoning, resting in crock pot.
    1. Place pork chops in bottom of crock pot, making sure they don’t overlap so they cook evenly. Sprinkle on ranch.
Canned soups mixed together in a glass bowl.
    2. Mix two soups together in a mixing bowl.

TIP: You can spray the inside of your crock pot with nonstick spray if desired but I found that the pork doesn’t stick to the crock pot, so there’s not a need.

    3. Pour soup mixture on to pork chops.
Cooked pork chops and gravy in crock pot.
    4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

    Recipe Tips:

    • Additional Seasonings – This recipe can be made with additional seasonings and ingredients to achieve a different flavor if desired. Some ideas could be, garlic, red pepper flakes for heat, or even a dollop of sour cream.
    • Ways to Use Leftovers – If there are leftovers, they can be reheated and enjoyed the same way. Or, the pork chops can be sliced or chopped and served in tacos, in pasta, or even on top of nachos. I share this same tip in my Fantabulous Dinner Theme System that takes the guesswork out of meal planning by assigning a fun, flexible theme to each night of the week.
    • Fresh Parsley – Sprinkling fresh, chopped parsley on top gives this dish beautiful color.
Cooked boneless pork chop being held by tons, above crock pot.

    Storage Tips:

    • Leftovers: Allow the creamy pork chops to fully cool and then store them with the gravy in an airtight container and in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
    • Freezing: Allow pork chops to fully cool and then store in a freezer container or bag, and freeze for up to 3 months.
    • Reheating: The pork chops can be reheated in the microwave or oven on low, or placed back in the crock pot on low and warmed until fully reheated.

    Expert Tips and FAQs

How do you keep pork chops from drying out in a crock pot?

Covering the pork chops with soups will prevent the pork from drying out.

Should I use bone-in or boneless pork chops for the crock pot?

Boneless pork chops are recommended for easier eating. However, bone-in pork chops can be used and some believe that bone-in chops are more flavorful and juicier.

Can I put frozen pork chops in the crock pot?

You can, however, it’s recommended that pork chops are thawed first. Frozen pork chops can take longer to cook and frozen chops don’t allow the flavors to soak in as fast.

Gravy covered pork chops that were cooked in the crock pot.

I can’t wait for you to try these creamy slow cooker pork chops. This recipe is so easy that it can be made often and served over different items (i.e. mashed potatoes, rice or noodles) to help get different flavors to keep the rotation exciting.)
