Chicken Caesar Sandwich

- 2 forks for shredding
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken breast
- 2 cups chicken broth homemade chicken broth recipe
- 1 cup Caesar salad dressing
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated or shredded
- ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves finely chopped
- 6 burger buns
- Romaine lettuce leaves optional for topping
Instructions
- Add the whole chicken breasts to the slow cooker bowl along with the chicken broth. Slow cook on low for 3 – 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
- Remove the chicken breasts from the slow cooker and shred using 2 forks. Drain the chicken broth from the slow cooker and discard.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker along with the caesar salad dressing. Stir to combine and slow cook for a further 30 minutes. Stir through the parmesan cheese and finely chopped parsley.
- Fill the burger buns with the romaine lettuce leaves and warm chicken caesar filling.
