Hot Cocoa Dip isn’t hot at all… it’s a no-bake dessert that only requires 4 ingredients: cream cheese, marshmallow fluff, Cool Whip, and hot chocolate mix. Serve it with your favorite cookies or graham crackers for a delicious and easy treat that’s creamy and sweet.

Who says desserts in the fall and winter must be baked in an oven? Not me! I love the flavors of this hot cocoa dip, all while it only takes a few minutes to whip up!
Serve it on a Christmas dessert board, this s’mores dip in the fall, or just to have on a holiday table for snacking.
Ingredients for Hot Cocoa Dip
Here’s what you’ll need for this easy recipe, below. Make sure to check the recipe card below for the full list of ingredients and measurements with instructions.

Notes of Key Ingredients
- Whipped Cream: You can use homemade whipped cream as a substitute for Cool Whip. Simply whip heavy cream with a bit of sugar until it forms stiff peaks. Use it in the same quantity as the Cool Whip in the recipe.
- Marshmallow Fluff: If you don’t have marshmallow fluff, you can substitute it with an equal amount of mini marshmallows melted with a little butter. Melt them gently over low heat and allow them to cool slightly before mixing them with the cream cheese.
How to Make This No Bake Dip

First, mix together the cream cheese and marshmallow fluff, using a hand mixer or a wooden spoon.
Then, mix in the hot chocolate mix until fully combined.
Lastly, using a spatula, fold in (meaning to carefully and gradually) stir the whipped cream in to the dip so it remains fluffy.
Pour in to a serving dish and serve with your favorite snacks. See ideas below.
